The Cutest Roadside Stop on the Road to Hana You’ve Never Heard Of
Maui’s famous Road to Hana has plenty of jaw dropping spots…you’ve heard of the big ones…the waterfalls, the black sand beach, the rainbow eucalyptus trees, THE VIEWS. But one of my favorite things is a tiny little roadside lemonade stand. It’s tucked along the highway and it is absolutely as charming as it sounds.
The lemonade here is made fresh daily with fruits grown right on their farm and it is GOOD.
Who This Stop Is Perfect For…
Honestly, anyone doing the Road to Hana should pull over here if they spot it. It’s a perfect little pick-me-up right in the middle of the drive when you’ve already been in the car for a while and you’re not quite to Hana yet. If you’re the type who likes to stop and soak in the little moments along the way rather than just racing to the end, the Hana Farmacy is totally your vibe.
It also happens to sit in a really great stretch of the highway between two other popular stops, Coconut Glen’s and Hana Farms, so if you’re already planning to hit those (and you should be), this fits perfectly into that little cluster of stops. Think of it as the bonus round between two places you’re probably already planning to visit.
It’s also just a really budget friendly way to treat yourself on a drive that can add up quickly between gas, snacks, and all the other things you end up stopping for along the way. A fresh made lemonade with local fruit for a few dollars? That’s an easy yes.
Extra Details
The fun thing about the Hana Farmacy is that the flavors rotate based on what’s fresh and in season from the farm, so whatever you get is going to be something local and made that day. The combinations are creative and the fact that everything is sourced right from their farm makes it feel extra special. It’s the kind of thing you can’t really replicate anywhere else, which is sort of the whole point of stopping for things like this on the Road to Hana.
Pricing is very reasonable, especially for Maui where everything tends to be on the pricier side.
One practical tip though: bring some cash just in case. They do take Venmo but the Road to Hana is notorious for spotty cell service and there’s nothing worse than pulling up to a cute little roadside stand and not being able to pay because you can’t get a signal.
Small stop, big charm. Don’t drive past it.
