For some reason, the Big Island has gotten a rap for not having many great beaches, but that couldn’t be farther from the case! Actually, some of Hawaii’s best beach resorts can be found on the Big Island!

Sheraton Kona Resort: While there’s no sandy beach, this lovely oceanfront resort just might win the award for best bang for your buck beach resort. The pool and outdoor spaces are perfect for soaking up rays and the location is great for seeing everything on the Kona side of the island. Four Seasons Hualalei: For the ultimate luxury experience, you can’t go wrong with the Four Seasons Hualalei. While all Four Seasons properties in Hawaii are top notch, this one definitely tops them all. It’s a pretty penny, but for a special occasion, it’s definitely worth hit. Hilton Waikoloa Village: The Hilton Waikoloa Village is practically a whole city in itself. This 62-acre tropical beach resort has multiple pools, restaurants, golf courses, tennis courts, lounges, a spa and fitness center, and even a tram system to help you get around!
